Church Survey
One of the first tasks of the Senior Pastor Search Committee is to prepare a profile of our church to represent us to the East Coast Conference and the Covenant Denomination so that they can assist us in our search. This profile will be provided to prospective candidates as we seek a “match.” We are now at work completing the profile, and we need information from you! We are aware that many of you want to express your feelings and preferences about the pastoral leadership we seek. It is for these two reasons, then, that we are sending this questionnaire for your careful and prayerful consideration.
The questionnaire is of our own devising. We have used past and sample questionnaires to build this one, but it is designed for this church’s current situation. We’ve made it as easy to respond to as possible, including a minimum number of questions that require written answers. There is also space at the end to write additional thoughts/views. Feel free to use this space, but do not feel obliged to write more if the printed choices adequately express your thinking. The questionnaires are intended to be anonymous. Please complete them in one of two ways: • Complete the survey electronically: ➢ Go to the church website (eccattleboro.org) ▪ Under the EVENTS drop down menu, “Church Survey” ➢ Use the link in the weekly Connections email • Complete a hard copy (printed) survey ➢ Printed copies are available in the Narthex of the church ➢ If you would like a printed copy mailed to you contact the church office or Search Committee member ➢ Drop your survey off at church in the bin labeled “Surveys” near the mail slots in the narthex, or mail your response back to the church office Each member and friend is encouraged to fill out the survey online. If you respond electronically, please do not also turn in a printed version! Please complete or return the surveys by Sunday, June 2, 2024 when we will begin our analysis of the results. If you have any questions about the survey itself or the process as a whole, please feel free to talk to any member of the committee, listed below. During the school year, PK-5th grade students are excused after the Children’s Message to their Sunday School Classes.
Extended care is available until 11:30
Middle School, High School and Adult Sunday School follows the service at 10:45-11:30
Nursery care is available from 9:30-11:30
We celebrate the sacrament of communion on the first Sunday of every month.
